My interest in art began when I was a child. My exposure to art was through my mother's passion for oil painting and my uncle's artistic skills in welded sculptures and landscape oil paintings.
I studied Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin where I was exposed to a wide variety of styles and techniques that allowed me to express my vision on canvas. After college, I had several opportunities to paint large scale murals for local businesses where I perfected my linear and arial perspective on large scale.
Residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the time, I was drawn to the unique architecture and interesting landscapes that surrounded the downtown area. I began painting cityscapes of local landmark buildings, and my wife Lisa and I enjoyed traveling to other cities and locations where I was inspired to paint cityscapes, landscapes and wildlife as my subject matters.
Currently, my subject matter has taken a new direction appreciating the artistry and design of the automotive industry. My wife and I enjoy going to local auto shows in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area, to find my inspiration for my next painting.
We reside in Fountain Hills, Arizona where I display my original artwork locally and in the greater Phoenix area.
